Pianist Needed for Pajama Game (Melbourne)
The Henegar Center in Melbourne is putting on the Pajama Game (I am in the ensemble), starting March 18. They are in desperate need of a pianist for the rest of the rehearsals & for the show itself. It is a paying position & the person needs to know how to read music well. If you or someone you know might be interested in this, please send me a PM & I can get you in contact with the musical director. This is a great show, a great cast & any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!

CASTING CALL for ROCKY HORROR SHOW at SURFSIDE PLAYHOUSE, COCOA BEACH.
(reposted from the Surfside website)
Every October for the last 7 years, Surfside Playhouse has presented 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' to packed houses of screaming fans. And to commemorate the closing of the theatre's landmark 50th season, Surfside is proud to debut on its stage the musical that started it all: 'The Rocky Horror Show'!
'The Rocky Horror Show' is the full stage rock musical that inspired the cult film, 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show'. This is NOT the film and shadow cast experience; this is the live band, full stage musical with great songs and crazy characters.
Surfside will be holding open auditions on Sunday and Monday, March 22 and 23 at 7 pm at the Playhouse. All are welcome to audition. Those planning to attend should dress for a dance audition. Also, there will be selections taught and sung from the show, but those interested may bring a prepared song NOT from a stage musical. If bringing a prepared piece, please also bring a background track on CD that does NOT contain vocals. There will also be cold readings.
The show will run from May 22 - June 7. Directed by Anthony Mowad.
Presented by special arrangement with Samuel French.
Surfside Playhouse is located at Ramp Road and Brevard Avenue in Cocoa Beach. Phone number is 321-783-3127. It's easy to find. Take State Road A1A to 5th Street South (5 blocks south of Minuteman Causeway) and head west until you drive into it.

Maximum Ink Reviews The Spores
THE SPORES - Imagine the Future (SideCho Records) Using Paper Mache persona on stage, the Spores score slippery symphonies for marionettes, serving irresistible ear candy slathered in hip urban funk ripe for fantasy and satire. Flexing psycho-tropic muscle with slick hallucinogenic hustle, the electro-phonic dance-rock grooves of Imagine is pumped with electric adrenaline and coated in neon foxy bravado. www.thespores.com
The Spores Review in RockIt Newspaper
THE SPORES - Imagine the future
Label: Sidecho Records
Reviewed by: Christina Cetto
Will The Spores make it? Only time will tell; June 27 of 2006 to be exact. Along with a catchy debut album title, comes along a catchy but spacey Trip-hop new band, The Spores. The Spores, one can consider a poor man’s version of England’s infamous Portishead. In areas where Portishead really tends to stand and deliver, The Spore’s vibe tends to be much lighter and shyer, but also retains that same techno/electronica sound.
“The Spores will win you over live. You’ll put down the cellie and become a fan”-Indie 103.1. Their single “(Don’t) Kill yourself” had received particular media and industry insider’s attention. Much thought that the original title of the single “Kill yourself” was “too brutal for mass exposure”-thespores.com . Because of the hesitant and negative release advice given to The Spores, they simply added one word into the title that changed it all. Now it is called “(Don’t) Kill yourself,” and since then it is a highly anticipated album. Imagine the future has been featured on KROQ's "Rodney on the Roq" and "Flash Forward." Hopefully The Spores live up to their already sought after reputation, and do truly become as popular as they expect to be.
CHECK THEM OUT ON THEIR MYSPACE THEN PRE-ORDER THE ALBUM AT SIDECHO.COM!!!
